Glass facades
Glass facades are a common solution in modern architecture of business buildings, hotels, modern apartment buildings as well as business and shopping centers.
MIK glass facades represent more than just the envelope of a building. They are made of light aluminum construction with an interrupted thermal bridge and glass panel.
The main advantage of glass facades is that large glass surfaces allow the light to penetrate deep into the object. Natural light which shines into the space behind the glass facade gives the user a feeling of spaciousness, openness and connection with the nature outside of the building. Glass facades achieve a sufficient degree of thermal insulation, which is why they can also be used for passive construction.
The most commonly used system in Slovenia is a post and beam facade. Posts and beams are most often 50mm wide, while their depth changes in accordance with the static requirements of the facade construction.

Panoramic glazing provides you with a possibility of unlimited creativity and a recognizable appearance of your building. It is extremely popular in modern architecture, which tends to lean towards large glass surfaces which make the building connect and blend with the environment. The advantages of lift and slide walls are, first and foremost, simple and comfortable handling during opening and a low element threshold.
