Repair service

Regular maintenance of builders’ joinery is a prerequisite for maintaining its basic properties. Regardless of the material used, the biggest mistake that an otherwise responsible owner can make is to leave our builders’ joinery to chance without regularly maintaining it.

Here at MIK, we provide professional repair services and regular maintenance checks which are provided by our authorized repairers. Professionally executed regular maintenance checks and repair services guarantee long-term flawless operation of your builders’ joinery and help you save money when it comes to costs for heating and cooling your building.

22% standard rate; 9.5% residential installation (natural persons). Value added tax (VAT) is calculated pursuant to the provisions of the Value Added Tax Act and the Rules on the Implementation of the Value Added Tax Act. The value added tax only applies for legal persons with an ID for VAT: VAT reverse charge under Article 76a of the ZDDV-1. In the event of an offer pursuant to a reduced tax rate of 9.5%, the customer confirms with their payment that the usable area of the house does not exceed 250m2, while the usable area of an apartment does not exceed 120m2.

30-year guarantee

We guarantee a 30-year of flawless operation and basic functioning of MIK builders’ joinery for any undamaged builders’ joinery which has been regularly maintained and repaired by an authorized MIK repairer.

20-year warranty for acrylic paints

PVC windows with acrylic coating are extremely scratch- and dirt-resistant, and are also easy to clean. We guarantee the resistance of acrylic coating to atmospheric agents with a 20-year warranty.

10-year warranty

We provide a warranty for all installed window and door fittings, the resistance of PVC elements to atmospheric agents, the prescribed strength of the product, dimensional stability according to the standards for white PVC window, door and shutter profiles, white PVC door panels, as well as all section and garage doors from our sales program. We also provide a 10-year warranty for the installation of builders’ joinery according to the MIK RAL system.

5-year warranty

We provide a warranty for all installed insulating glass units, the resistance of ALU elements to atmospheric agents, the prescribed strength of the product, dimensional stability according to the standards for ALU window, door and shutter profiles of certain systems. We also provide a 5-year warranty for all installed conservatory elements, ALU roller shutters, as well as inner PVC sills and outer ALU sills.

3-year warranty

We provide a warranty for the resistance of PVC elements to atmospheric agents, the prescribed strength of the product, dimensional stability according to the standards for foil-covered PVC profiles for windows, doors and shutters, PVC decor door panels, wood/ALU window and door profiles and the installation of MIK builders’ joinery according to the classic system.

2-year warranty

We provide a warranty for the resistance of wood elements to atmospheric agents, the prescribed strength of the product, and the dimensional stability according to the standards for wooden window and door profiles of the Comfort Line system. We also provide a 2-year warranty for internal wooden and PVC doors, shutter fittings, external and internal Venetian blinds, drive components and PVC slats of roller shutters and garage doors, electronic and electric devices installed in conservatories, as well as slanting of builders’ joinery.

1-year warranty

We provide a warranty for all types of end profiles of products according to the classic system, as well as for all additional work during builders’ joinery installation.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

The warranty for builders’ joinery and other materials from the MIK sales program applies pursuant to the rules and provisions set out in the Operating and Maintenance Instructions and on the Warranty Certificate (in Slovenian) received by the customer at the time of purchase of MIK builders’ joinery.

The warranty only applies if the product user follows the Operating and Maintenance Instructions received at the time of installation.
